How do I reserve a specific model?

In the online shop of Panorama ski rental in Großarl, you can book the appropriate category. Model selection with individual consultation takes place on site. You are welcome to leave a request in the comment field.

Where can I find the Panorama ski school and ski rental?

At 2 Locations – Centrally Located!

  • At the base station of the Panorama cable car
  • Directly at the lift parking lot, opposite the Hotel DAS EDELWEISS MOUNTAIN RESORT

Important Notice:
Due to Corona, particularly to reduce waiting times, we have physically separated the ski school office from the ski rental. For this purpose, we have established our own ski school office, right next to the Blockhütte Panorama.

What percentage discount do I receive for an online reservation?

Ski Rental: for reservations made up to 10 days before arrival : 10% early booking online discount

Free Rental for Ski & Board Equipment

Free depot spaces for skis and snowboards from Ski Rental Panorama are available for all customers at the valley station of the Panorama Cable Car.

Can I pick up my equipment the day before?

You can pick up the equipment the day before from 2:00 PM.

Can I insure my equipment?

Yes, through the Sport-Pro insurance. You pay 10% of the rental sum. With this loss & theft protection, you secure yourself. Should your rental skis either get lost or stolen, you will receive a replacement model. This insurance is not tied to any deductible. However, willful damages or gross negligence that subsequently leads to damage to the material are excluded.

The children's discount does not work?

Family Offer:
Children up to 10 years rent for free.
Children 11-14 years: -50% discount.
When per child/1 parent... (maximum 2 parents/2 children)

The child discount applies only when you book the equipment for parents and child(ren) during the booking process. Regardless, you get a 10% early booking discount for online reservations if you reserve and pay up to 10 days before arrival. See example.

Can I rent a locker for my own skis?

Unfortunately no. Please check with your landlord. The landlord may have reserved a depot spot at the valley station for his guests.

I have not received a confirmation for my reservation yet?

You will receive the booking confirmation for online bookings within 1 hour. The booking confirmation and the invoice will be sent to the email address you have provided. Please check the email address and the spam folder.

Can I rent for half a day?

On site, you can of course also rent the equipment for half days. Unfortunately, this is not possible online.

Can I also pay on site?

If you reserve online, the equipment is definitely reserved for you. This is especially true for holiday periods. Of course, you can also rent without a reservation and pay on site! At all locations, the QR code for self-check-in is stored. In this way, you can enter your data into our system before you even enter the store. This reduces the time spent inside the business premises.

What payment options do I have for online reservations?

You can pay with us using a credit card (MasterCard or Visa), Paypal, or instant transfer.

How do I reserve equipment for school groups

Students are very important to us. We guarantee top-notch equipment, child/youth-friendly prices, and prompt processing on site. Just send us a request via email.

Upon placing an order, you will receive an online form asking you to enter the data for your students. For this, we need personal data. Privacy policies are, of course, observed.

I'm coming with a group, is there a group discount?

Panorama Ski Rental offers special group rates. This applies to groups of 20 or more full-paying individuals renting skis or snowboards.
For groups arriving during the holidays with family:
Children up to 10 years rent for free
Children aged 11-14 years receive a 50% discount
  • on the skis (ski set),
  • provided each child/1 parent rents the skis (ski set),
  • for the same rental period.

The family discount naturally also applies to snowboards.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Excluded from the price reduction under the group rate are children who rent under the family offer and 15-16 year olds who benefit from the youth discount.

The online payment is not working?

In most cases, it helps to try the process again after a short time. If it still does not work, please try the following:
    • Refresh your browser
    • Start our website in a different browser and log in again (Firefox, Chrome, Safari…)
    • Choose a different payment method (Visa, Mastercard, immediate transfer, Paypal)mailto:rent@skischule-panorama.at
    If this still does not help, please send an email to rent@skischule-panorama.at, with a screenshot of the step where the payment stops and a brief description of what happens. We will check if your payment was successful and take care of a solution as soon as possible.

Can I rent a locker for my own skis?

For all customers, our store at the base station of the Panorama cable car offers free depot spaces for skis and snowboards, which you have rented from Panorama Ski Rental. Unfortunately, we are unable to store your own skis.

What happens if my ski gets stolen?

In most cases, the skis or the snowboard are only confused. If this happens to you, please call the Panorama ski rental. The staff will be happy to assist you. You will receive a replacement model immediately. If the ski or snowboard cannot be found by the time of your departure, make a report at the police station. If you have taken out SportPro insurance, you are exempt from the deductible. There are no costs involved. Exception: gross negligence!

What is SportPro Insurance?

You pay 10% of the rental fee. This covers you for breaks and theft exempting you from the deductible. In case of theft, a police report is required. Excluded from the insurance coverage are: gross negligence and willful damage.

Can I switch between skiing and snowboarding?

Of course, it is possible to swap skis for a snowboard and vice versa for a day.
